Dear Potential Donor,

In 2008 and 2009 the economy has affected our state, our public schools and our football program dramatically. In the upcoming season we may not have enough football equipment (such as helmets) for all of our team members. We currently do not know how we will pay for transportation to take us to our away games. Yearly we accrue a football bill of $8,000 dollars to pay for safety recertification, repair, and microbe disinfection of our helmets and shoulder pads. We also have a yearly laundry bill each season over $3,000 dollars. There are other expenses that are critical for a football program to survive such as purchasing practice jerseys, lower leg padding, practice pants, footballs, and of course actually football game uniforms. New game jerseys can range in cost from $10,000 to $15,000. Game pants range in cost from $8,500 to 12,500. The state will not assist in the purchasing of any game uniforms. We currently service up to 135 student-athletes on average each football season and we now have to raise a significant amount of funds to continue to provide a great experience for all of our student-athletes.

We have never been faced with these types of financial challenges in the past and we are reaching out to our family and friends for help.

Our football program teaches more than X’s and O’s.  It teaches our players  about being quality, great young men who care about others and serve others. We really need help to sustain the quality of our program..

You will receive a thank you letter from our school with our school’s non-profit tax I.D. as your receipt for your taxes as a charitable donation.

3) If you send a donation in by check to sponsor a current player on the team please write his name down on the check so we can apply it to their fundraising goal of $300. If you are donating online please use the box titled "home telephone" to also include the name of the current player you would like to sponsor.
