1. This year will be the second year of our participation in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Hawaii, event in Honor of one of our player's Mom (Candace Tiave, Pono Tiave's Mom) who passed away from breast cancer.
If any of you would like to join us please go to the link below to register, you can join the "Moanalua FB Team" there are a number of options, 5mile run/walk, 1mile run/walk, or the sleep in and support the event option.
If you are too late to register as one of our teammates then feel free to register as an individual and join us anyway.
We will have a potluck lunch at the end of the race at Kapiolani park (the finish line) and we will have a Team photo shoot as well. To help with the potluck please contact Team Mom Tonette Wise ASAP.
Last year we had over 35 players and parents on our team and it was a very special event for the Tiave family, and our football family. Candace Tiave was a great supporter of our school, and her children. If you can't join us at the event there are sponsorship opportunities for players that are raising money for the cure just ask any of the players.
